Doug is a native of the Wheatland, Iowa area which is located in the corners of Scott, Clinton and Cedar counties. He is a graduate of Wheatland High School and Kirkwood Community College with an Associates of Science Degree. He presently resides on his farm, outside Wheatland, with his wife and three sons.

Doug has lived and farmed his entire life, raising crops, hogs and cattle. Doug has always been interested in banking and values of property. In June 2002 he attended the Lincoln Graduate Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He passed his residential/real property test in September of 2002. Doug would like to continue his education to include farm land appraisals. His present expertise is single family residential. Doug started with Koestner, McGivern & Associates in July of 2003.
